The hotel is directly on the river and there is a pleasant river walk. We didn’t figure it out in time but there were ride share bikes nearby and it would have been great to ride along the river. Near the entry is a cafe (we didn’t try) and a small convenience store. Restaurants and shops around 1-2 blocks away- cross over river. Around 10 mins walk. Tip- there is a street in the block across the river that sells pets and the fish tanks lit up at night are cool to see! Security-Doorman at elevator/ground floor. As the lobby is on an upper level the doorman will swipe the card for the lift when you first arrive. Breakfast- go straight to chef at window and order from there! So good! The rest is average. Gym was well equipped, I didn’t use it though. Pool area- feels a bit neglected and worn. The water wasn’t warm. Rooftop- for views, not appealing to spend a lot of time. We booked a studio premier and for the most part it reflected the pictures. We were on the 33rd floor (34th is top). We got the room we booked. Overall very comfortable and clean. Signs of wear in kitchen and bathroom. Bed is so comfortable and huge. Nice linens. A very good night’s sleep here! Lots of storage. We had a city view. Kitchen looks equipped for simple meals but we only used kettle and fridge. Very quiet. They took a deposit of around $150. I paid with my credit card, refunded after around 10 days. After refund, cost was around $15 more than quoted inc taxes in booking so not sure if this was a card fee on their side. We didn’t have or use anything extra. Out of 6 hotels we stayed at on our trip only 2 asked for deposits. Overall good value. Chengdu is an awesome and easy city to explore and I highly recommend it!

Amazing views from our 20th floor suite. Direct view to Tianfu Square / Mao statue. Near to two metro stations and very central with views of the river. The suite itself was huge, generous sized rooms and cleaned every day except Sundays by our floor attendant Fanny, with water and toiletries replenished. Super king bed and lots of storage space with bedroom safe box if required. Reassuring touches like a torch and smoke hood in case of fire, appreciated as on the 20th floor! Generous sized bathroom and good shower. We stayed there comfortably for 10 days whilst visiting our daughter who is studying at Sichuan University for 1 year. The staff were very friendly and we could easily make ourselves understood even with our no Mandarin. Customer services were excellent, they went above and beyond to retrieve our daughter's iPhone when she inadvertently left it in a Didi car. Breakfast options included Chinese and western options and were plentiful. Pool and gym facilities, whilst we did not use, looked good and not busy. The hotel and apartment is starting to look a little old (TV etc was old) but for the price (for us it was about £45 per night for both of us) and warmth of the staff it was incredible value for money. We loved Chengdu and our hotel exceeded expectations. There is a great coffee shop (Mann, a separate business) on ground floor which is also excellent, good western style coffee and snacks/ salads. I would highly recommend. . .

The staff here are very helpful about enquiries around places to eat and buy things in Chengdu (the local market the person manning the entrance suggested was a great look into local produce) Check in process is fast and smooth, we've checked in 3 times over 2 weeks as we used this hotel as a central hub for our trip around Sichuan Kelly was there for most if not all of our check in, and she was extremely friendly and professional She remembered the different areas we were leaving to and would check in to see how we found each destination The washer and dryer in each room is extremely convenient, and even if the room is missing a dryer, they have a laundry room on the 20th and 24th floor that you can use at your convenience The shower pressure is nice and quick to reach the right temperature The beds are very comfortable, not too hard and not too soft There are 2 metro entrances nearby, and you can reach local attractions quite easily The front desk can also call you a taxi that arrives quickly if that's what you prefer 7-ll is just downstairs by the river, as well as a nice local breakfast spot Overall, I would definitely stay here again if I visit Chengdu in the future

I am extremely surprised about our staying here. First of all, we checked in after midnight, and the staff has been really supportive in accommodating us with this request. All the staff spoke a really good English, the communication was excellent and we hadn't any issue at all with our staying. Everyone was very nice. They also helped us with our luggages (which were a lot and heavy) to bring them in the room. We were three people, and we have been provided with a huge room: the beds were super comfortable, the room had all facilities needed. The bathroom was great, the cleanliness was on point. The wi-fi worked really well. The breakfast was amazing: there was a lot of options, which I appreciate a lot, and everything was really good and tasty. The location was also very good, near the main square/plaza of Chengdu (we could get there in about 15 mins walking). To be honest, everything was exceptional - I have nothing to complain about at all. I definitely recommend this hotel and I think it is a great value for money. I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Chengdu.

Beautiful place to stay. Spacious apartment. Comfortable bed. Great restaurant and breakfast with plenty of choice. 20 minute walk to Anshun Bridge, night life, bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly, although we needed the translation app to communicate properly. We read other reviews that said the bathroom was smelly. This wasn’t the case for us. The only smell we noticed was in the street, strong car fumes, but Chengdu IS the 4th largest city in China. There is a laundry with free washing machine and dryer. A roof top garden and outdoor seating. A swimming pool that doesn’t seem to be advertised much and we almost got lost trying to find it, pool table and gym. There is construction work still going on but we were on the 20th floor and didn’t hear a thing.
